Amy has lived in Cornwall all her life and has always had a passion for animals. She qualified as a Veterinary Nurse and has 20 years’ experience, having previously worked in small animal practice where she spent several years as Head Nurse. Coincidentally, Amy was taught by Emma at college, making joining the team a lovely connection.

Amy has always wanted to work with large animals and is delighted to now be pursuing that passion. She is also on the Dales Pony judging panel, something she particularly enjoys as it allows her to combine her experience and love of horses. 

Outside of work, Amy is kept busy with her young son, her spaniel John, who is a qualified therapy dog and visits a local school each week, as well as her four horses and two cats. She enjoys spending time outdoors and making the most of family life in Cornwall.
