After retiring from a 25-year career with Devon & Cornwall Constabulary, Jeannette wasn’t quite ready to hang up her boots. Her lifelong love of animals led her to a local veterinary practice, where she spent the next four years enjoying a variety of roles—from patient care assistant to receptionist, and finally referral administrator. She loved every minute, meeting so many lovely people and their pets, working with talented colleagues, and making wonderful friends along the way.

At home, Jeannette’s passion for animals shines through. She shares her life with three dogs, a cat, and two tortoises—and would happily admit her house is always full of character thanks to them.

Horses have been a passion of hers since childhood, and owning them had always been a dream. Today, she feels lucky to have four at home. Jeannette loves every part of equestrian life (yes—even the poo picking!) but especially enjoys show jumping, hunter trials, beach rides, and fun rides. She’s even tried her hand at a dressage test once… and might just give it another go one day.
